Joining Forces to Set Sail and Co-Create a Bright New Blueprint – Ningbo Lighting Association Delegation Shines at the 2026 Guangzhou Light + Building Fair

From June 9 to 12, the 27th Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition (GILE), also known as the “Light + Building Fair,” was grandly held at the Canton Fair Complex. As a global barometer for the lighting industry, this year’s exhibition gathered leading enterprises and innovative achievements from around the world. Among this wave of industrial momentum, Ningbo lighting enterprises stood out prominently.

Entrusted by President Zhu Guozhen, Zhang Minghui, Acting President of the Ningbo Lighting Electrical Appliance Industry Association, personally led a delegation to visit more than 60 exhibiting member companies—including Langge Lighting, Yuandong Lighting, Nengliang Optoelectronics, Qianfeng Zhenye Lighting, Siying Optoelectronics—and offered warm encouragement. This initiative not only demonstrated the association’s strong cohesion but also conveyed firm confidence in advancing together through challenges.

During the exhibition, Acting President Zhang Minghui and his team moved between pavilions, engaging warmly with company executives at each stop, inquiring in detail about exhibition outcomes, new product launches, and market feedback. From cross-industry integration in smart lighting and technological breakthroughs in healthy illumination to specialized innovations in niche segments, the delegation observed, listened, and discussed extensively, deeply sensing the vibrant innovation and brand-building energy among Ningbo lighting enterprises.

At booths of leading enterprises like Langge Lighting and Yuandong Lighting, Zhang expressed high praise for their strategic commitment to original design and deep focus on niche markets. At tech-driven companies such as Nengliang Optoelectronics, Qianfeng Zhenye Lighting, and Siying Optoelectronics, he fully acknowledged their breakthrough achievements in LED packaging, optical applications, and intelligent control systems.

Facing a complex and volatile international trade environment and ever-evolving market demands, Acting President Zhang emphasized during discussions with enterprises: “One travels fast alone, but far together.”

He noted that this large-scale visit is both a concrete practice of the association’s service to its members and an in-depth industry survey. As a key hub of China’s lighting industry, Ningbo boasts a complete industrial chain and a highly resilient cluster of enterprises. He encouraged local companies to persist in innovation-driven development, embrace digital transformation, and seize early opportunities in intelligent and green transitions.
