The 4-day 2024 Hong Kong International Spring Lighting Fair (hereinafter referred to as “Hong Kong Lighting Fair”) concluded successfully. Themed “Innovative Lighting · Smart Living,” this year’s fair was held concurrently with the inaugural Smart Lighting Expo, attracting over 1,300 exhibitors in total.
Our association was led by Mr. Le Zou, President of Yasheng Group (a vice-chairman unit), as head delegate, and Mr. Mao Yanhui, General Manager of Phelix Lighting (another vice-chairman unit), as deputy head delegate, bringing nearly 30 outstanding member enterprises including Xuyu Optoelectronics, Xiaojiang IoT, Tongyifang, Darko Optics, and Dongling Power to exhibit.
This year, the organizers made a series of adjustments to product zones, aiming to position the Hong Kong Lighting Fair as a global trendsetter for the lighting industry and better meet the evolving needs of buyers and sellers. The fair featured eleven dedicated product zones: Commercial Lighting, Decorative Lighting, Advertising Lighting, Chandelier Gallery, LED & Eco-friendly Lighting – Indoor, LED & Eco-friendly Lighting – Outdoor, Lighting Accessories & Components, Outdoor Lighting, Trade Services & Publications, Professional & Industrial Lighting, and Smart Lighting & Solutions. Additionally, a special “Gallery of Renowned Lighting Brands” showcased a variety of branded products.
The exhibition attracted exhibitors and visitors from around the world, delivering an international cultural feast to Hong Kong. Here, cultural exchange and integration among different countries and regions turned the lighting fair into a cross-border platform that fosters mutual understanding and communication among diverse cultures!

According to Mr. Le, head delegate of our association: “Visitor traffic at this spring lighting fair decreased slightly compared to previous years. On one hand, the Frankfurt Light + Building fair in Germany had just concluded in March; on the other hand, the Western Easter holiday had just ended, resulting in fewer European and American visitors. Nevertheless, overall results met our expectations.”
