In order to further advance the preventive compliance system construction for key industries in our city, fully leverage the important role of legal scholars, experts, and legal practitioners in compliance system development, and help foster a world-class, law-based business environment, the Office for Promoting Rule of Law under the CPC Ningbo Municipal Committee has decided to establish the Ningbo Compliance Expert Panel.
Following procedures including nomination, review, and public notice, 113 individuals from local government agencies, law firms, and higher education institutions have been selected as panel members. Mr. Mao Jianzhong, General Manager of Ningbo Wote Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd.—a member unit of our association—has been included among them. He will serve a three-year term carrying out responsibilities such as compliance guidance evaluation, compliance advisory services, and compliance research and exchange.
Ningbo Wote Testing Technology Service Co., Ltd. was established in March 2008 as an independent legal entity wholly owned by Wote Testing Group. The company has consistently provided reliable product testing services and has now built laboratories of considerable scale for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), electrical and electronic product safety, energy efficiency and performance testing, and chemical testing.
Main services include: EMC, reliability, energy efficiency, and safety testing for electrical and electronic products; and chemical testing for restricted substances in products such as electrical and electronic goods, hardware, plastics, textiles, children’s toys, leather, and food-contact materials.
The company strictly adheres to the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 (CNAS-CL01), RB/T 214, and the IECEE CB Scheme in establishing its quality management system. In 2018, it successively obtained China Metrology Accreditation (CMA) from the Zhejiang Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, accreditation from China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), and import/export commodity inspection certification from the General Administration of Customs. In October 2022, it received the CBTL certificate from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IECEE), becoming the first laboratory in Ningbo officially recognized by SAA.
The company has successively been honored as a High-Tech Enterprise, the Wote New Materials and Smart Electronic Products Engineering (Technology) Center in Ningbo National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (New Materials Science City), and the Public Technical Service Platform for Smart Home Product Testing and Certification in Ningbo National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone (New Materials Science City).
