To celebrate the 104th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, fully leverage the exemplary role of party members in social organizations, and support public welfare initiatives, on the evening of June 28, 2025, ahead of the upcoming July 1st celebration, the Party Branch of the Ningbo Lighting Electrical Appliance Industry Associationactively participated in the 2025 Social Organizations' "Party Members' Public Welfare Day" event organized by the Ningbo Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, demonstrating the sense of responsibility of social organizations.
At the event site, under the leadership of Secretary-General Wang Junkai, members of the Party Branch of the Ningbo Lighting Electrical Appliance Industry Association enthusiastically signed up for "Micro Wishes" and made on-site donations. Though small, these wishes carry the recipients’ hopes for a better life—such as an electric fan, a set of school supplies, or a quilt for autumn. Party members from our association stated: “As party members, it is our duty to help the public overcome practical difficulties. We hope our modest contributions can bring them warmth.”
Zhou Chengwei, Rotating President of Ningbo Lighting Association and General Manager of Ningbo Weilinma Electronics Co., Ltd., actively participated online, proactively claimed micro wishes, and completed both material and monetary donations. He said: “Public welfare knows no boundaries between online and offline; kindness comes in all sizes. As entrepreneurs, we should take the lead in fulfilling social responsibilities and deliver care to those in need.”
The event featured not only a “Micro Wish” adoption zone but also a carefully organized public welfare bazaar and cultural performances. The venue was packed with enthusiastic citizens gathering around various charity booths. Lively song-and-dance shows and musical performances took turns on stage, earning rounds of applause and further enhancing the atmosphere of public service, inspiring greater participation.
The Party Branch of the Ningbo Lighting Electrical Appliance Industry Association has always adhered to party-building as its guiding principle, actively organizing and participating in public welfare activities such as poverty alleviation, assistance to the needy, and educational sponsorship.
In this "Party Members' Public Welfare Day" event, our association’s Party Branch fulfilled its original mission of “doing practical things for the people” through concrete actions, showcasing the social responsibility and commitment of social organizations. In the future, the association will continue to be guided by party-building efforts, unite industry forces, and contribute its “light” to Ningbo’s public welfare endeavors.
