To thoroughly study and implement the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deepen education on the history of the Communist Party of China, and inspire party members’ patriotism and sense of mission, on October 17, 2025, the Party Branch of the Ningbo Lighting Electrical Appliance Industry Association organized party members to watch the patriotic film “731.” Through this immersive viewing activity, participants revisited the history of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and drew strength to forge ahead..
The film “731” is based on historical facts about the atrocities committed by Japan’s Unit 731 during the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. It exposes the invaders’ crimes against humanity and showcases the indomitable spirit of the Chinese people. During the screening, branch members watched solemnly, deeply moved by the nation’s painful history and the hard-won peace. In a post-screening discussion, Party Branch Secretary Comrade Huang Zhiyong emphasized: “This history is an eternal wound for the Chinese nation and a vivid lesson reminding us that ‘backwardness leads to being beaten.’ As party members in the new era, we must remember history and translate our patriotism into concrete actions that drive high-quality development in our industry.”
The smoke of war has cleared, but the warning bell still rings. This viewing event was not only a review of history but also a spiritual baptism. The Party Branch of the Ningbo Lighting Electrical Appliance Industry Association will take history as a mirror, lead industry colleagues to bravely shoulder responsibilities on the journey of the new era, and write a patriotic answer sheet through solid work and outstanding achievements.
