[Party Building News] Study and Implement the Spirit of the Plenary Session, Faithfully Fulfill Our Original Aspirations and Mission — Ningbo Lighting Association Party Branch Holds a Learning Session on the Spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee

      Through video lectures, participants studied “Guiding Principles, Major Guidelines, and Fundamental Guarantees for Socioeconomic Development during the ‘15th Five-Year’ Period” by Professor Zhao Zhenhua from the Department of Economics at the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance), and “Major Strategic Tasks for Socioeconomic Development during the ‘15th Five-Year’ Period” by Professor Cao Li, also from the Department of Economics at the Central Party School (National Academy of Governance).

Guiding Principles for Socioeconomic Development during the “15th Five-Year” Period

       Adhere to Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Important Thought of Three Represents, and the Scientific Outlook on Development; comprehensively implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and its plenary sessions; focus on building a modern socialist country in all respects and realizing the second centenary goal; advance the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization; promote coordinated implementation of the “Five-Sphere Integrated Plan” and the “Four-Pronged Comprehensive Strategy”; balance domestic and international imperatives; fully, accurately, and comprehensively apply the new development philosophy; accelerate the creation of a new development paradigm; maintain the underlying principle of pursuing progress while ensuring stability; center efforts on economic development; take high-quality development as the central theme; treat reform and innovation as the fundamental driving force; aim to meet the people’s ever-growing needs for a better life; ensure full and rigorous governance over the Party as the fundamental guarantee; drive effective qualitative improvements and sound quantitative growth in the economy; make solid strides toward well-rounded human development and common prosperity for all; and ensure decisive progress in basically achieving socialist modernization.

      Secretary Huang particularly emphasized that Party members must maintain high consistency between thought and action—this cannot remain merely theoretical but must be implemented through concrete actions.

 Major Strategic Tasks for Socioeconomic Development during the “15th Five-Year” Period

      Major strategic tasks for socioeconomic development during the “15th Five-Year” period include: (1) Building a modern industrial system and strengthening the real economy; (2) Accelerating high-level self-reliance and self-strengthening in science and technology to lead the development of new quality productive forces; (3) Developing a robust domestic market and accelerating the formation of a new development pattern; (4) Speeding up the establishment of a high-standard socialist market economy system to enhance momentum for high-quality development; (5) Expanding high-level opening-up and creating new win-win cooperation scenarios; (6) Advancing agricultural and rural modernization and promoting comprehensive rural revitalization; (7) Optimizing regional economic layouts and fostering coordinated regional development; (8) Stimulating cultural innovation and creativity nationwide to enrich socialist culture; (9) Strengthening livelihood protection and improvement to steadily advance common prosperity for all; (10) Accelerating a comprehensive green transformation of economic and social development to build a Beautiful China; (11) Modernizing national security systems and capabilities to create a safer China at a higher level; and (12) Achieving the centenary goal of military building on schedule and advancing high-quality modernization of national defense and the armed forces.

       Secretary Huang stressed that all Party members should actively participate in accomplishing these twelve tasks. As entrepreneurs, we especially need to remember our responsibilities regarding Task 10 and contribute our share to realizing a comprehensive green transformation and building a Beautiful China.

Conclusion

       Standing at a new historical starting point, the Ningbo Lighting Association will continue to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, with firmer conviction, more pragmatic conduct, and stronger measures. We will unite and lead all member enterprises to scale new heights in technological innovation, sustain efforts in industrial upgrading, and demonstrate responsibility in public welfare services. May every beam of light serve as a testament to fulfilling our original aspirations and mission. May Ningbo’s lighting industry become a shining “force of brightness” in China’s modernization drive, contributing industry wisdom and strength toward building a modern socialist country in all respects and realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation!
